Pick #2: Jonathan India over 0.5 SB (+400) DK
Got the win to start the week with Bobby Witt in the early game. Right back with another stolen base and Jonathan India. I love both the Reds and Phils to steal bases here and struggled with who to pick. A bit on the game:
I fade Syndergaard every start. He has been historically bad at holding on baserunners and is the worst in the league by a pretty wide margin. The difference is, now with the Phillies, he has Realmuto who is one of the best defensive catchers so that makes it less of a free for all. Also, the books have caught on and the odds are usually pretty bad. However, most steals are off the pitchers and I really like India, Fraley and Friedl in this game for Cincinnati. You want guys who are hitting at the top of the lineup to get that third AB against Synegaard. The Phils bullpen and Realmuto arent likely to give up late steals.
On the Phillies side they face Cessa who has given up steals and Romine who doubled his total of caught stealers over the past week going from 1 to 2 (against 13 successful steals.) I like Segura, Realmuto and Stott in that order from the Phillies side.
I am going to have a lot of SGP here mixing and matching hoping to get 2-3 guys to steal for a 100-1 or better shot. But I think the best bang for your buck and my second pick for LIIC is Jonathan India over 0.5 SB at +400 on DK.
