Tonight the Dodgers and Rockies will be squaring off in Colorado at the always exciting Coors Field. Tonight's pitching matchup will feature LHP Tyler Anderson for the Dodgers and RHP Chad Kuhl going for the Rockies.

The total has been set at 11.5 for tonight's game which includes the Coors Field park factor, and the quality of both offensive teams. But I think this total is too high for the quality of arms that will be on the mound tonight.

Tyler Anderson has had a great start to 2022, he is sitting with a 3.00 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP. Anderson has only given up 4+ runs in 3 of his 11 starts this year. One of those 11 starts came against the Rockies where he threw 4 innings, only allowing 2 hits and 0 runs in his first outing of the 2022 season.

Anderson ranks in the 91st percentile in hard hit percentage, he ranks in the 93rd percentile in BB%, and ranks in the 93rd percentile in chase rate. Anderson does a good job of getting swing and misses, and producing soft contact, all the makings for limiting opponents run production.

On the other side, the Rockies will be countering with Chad Kuhl. Coming into this one, he has a 3.95 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP, and mind you he has made 5 of his 13 starts at Coors Field, which makes these numbers look a bit more attractive.

Kuhl has made 4 career starts against the Dodgers, and has a 4.95 ERA in those 4 appearances. However, Kuhl is having a career year as it sits right now, and has not given up more than 4 runs in any of those 4 starts against the Dodgers.

Recently, both teams have been playing to the under and on the road this year the Dodgers are 23-12-3 to the under, and the Rockies are 18-19-1 to the under at home this season. With the wind blowing in at 11 MPH from dead center field, I like this game to go under.
