I missed big last game going with a
Bregman RBI but I am taking it again today at +180. The Astros are hitting over .300 as a team against Eduardo Rodriguez with an OPS of nearly 1.000. Bregman typically hits third after Altuve and Brantley. Altuve is 5-13 against Rodriguez and Brantley is only 1-6 but has zero strike outs so he at least puts the ball in play and will move runners over. The Astros are also the visiting team so they will get 9 at bats so Bregman will likely have 5 chances to drive one in.
Rodriguez has struggled in Fenway all year with an ERA near 6. He has also given up more hits to righties all year allowing a .282 BAA on the year. While I dont expect him to go deep in the game Bregman should get two at bats and that should be enough here. Finally with games the next three days I dont think Boston wants to burn through their entire bullpen too quickly.
