Jumping to football here and taking Devonta Smith over 5.5 receptions tonight at -150.
Smith is coming off back to back 7 catch outings and is now entrenched as one of Jalens Hurts' favorite targets. Both Tampa and Phili have struggled defensively and right now the over under is 52.5. The way the Bucs offense is going there is little doubt they will be able to score points. This means either Phili will need to score early and often or they will have to throw a lot in the second half. Either way it bodes well for Smith. Add to all this that Tampa has allowed the most receptions to opposing wide receivers and there is little reason to believe Smith will not have a meaningful impact in tonight's game. Finally Dallas Goddert was placed on the COVID 19 list Tuesday and likely will not play this week. Even if he does end up playing, he has not practices all week and with Zack Ertz seemingly a shell of his old self, Smith is likely going to be asked to step up even more. For my third pick this week give me Devonta Smith over 5.5 receptions -150.
