Split yesterday's ticket 1-1, right back to it tonight for a tidy 6-game NHL slate. In honor of Cyber Monday and because I just feel like it, tonight I have 3 props I want to spotlight for you. Let's dig into it.

Marner OVER 2.5 Shots on Goal

For whatever reason, I just have it in my head he is going to have a big game tonight. While he is not terribly consistent as a shooter (4 of his last 7 on the road is the most meaningful "streak" I could see), it's not for lack of trying, averaging 5+ shot attempts per game. Regardless, Marner has points in 21 of 23 games this season and has been a key part of Toronto's success up to this point. Teams like Toronto should be able to put away teams like Detroit with relative ease, but that relies on players like Marner to show up. Marner has 3+ shots in 6 of his last 8 meetings with the Red Wings and in their last 3 meetings he has collected 5 goals and 8 points on 15 shots.

Kubalik OVER 2.5 Shots on Goal

Over in 7 of his last 9 overall and 3 of his last 4 home games, Kubalik is one of the main (and surprising) reasons this Detroit squad has been competitive up to this point. Contributing points since early in the scene, he has now added consistency as a shooter and tonight gets a favorable matchup with a Toronto team that a) tends to be more susceptible to shots on the road and b) he has had success against so far in his career (hit in 3/4 games including both meetings last season). Averaging 6+ attempts per game, Kubalik is primed to help the home team knock off a perennial contender tonight.

Forsling OVER 0.5 Points

Tonight, Florida travels to Rogers Place to take on the Edmonton Oilers. Edmonton is giving up 3+ goals per game on home ice this season, starting a goalie who has allowed 2+ goals in 8 of his last 9 starts. While the Panthers are not scoring at quite the rate they were last season, they still average 3+ goals per game. Forsling has points in 6 of his last 7 games and 2 of 3 on the road, he also had a point in an earlier matchup with the Oilers this season. While we often hit our point props with assists, it's always nice to take a guy that can shoot as well - averaging 4+ attempts (7+ on the road), at the very least he throws the puck towards the net where anything can happen. I like him to help the Panthers start their road trip with a W.

There you have it, my top 3 props for tonight's NHL action. Plenty of good looks out there, whatever you bet, I hope we all cash tonight.
