Vegas @ Columbus

Vegas Season SOG Avg: 32.9

Columbus Season SOG Avg: 29.8,

Columbus Home SOG Avg: 30.6
Columbus Home SOGA Avg: 35.1

After looking at player prop options, there is not a lot i like here in terms of shot props. Nobody on Vegas has been having recent success in addition to past success against Columbus. That being said, Columbus is starting Tarasov in goal who is 2-3 this season allowing an average of nearly 3.5 goals per game. Alex Pietrangelo is the team leader in assists this year with 18, and 11 points in his last 10 games. I like Pietrangelo 1+ Point at -155 odds, betting 1.55 units to win 1 unit.

Top Play:
Dylan Larkin Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-165, 3.3 units to win 2 units on Draftkings)
Dylan Larkin 4+ Shots on Goal (+154, 1 unit to win 1.54 units on Fanduel)
Dylan Larkin 5+ Shots on Goal (+350, 0.5 units to win 1.75 units on Fanduel)

Larkin has hit this 3+ line in 14/20 games so far this season, a 70% hit rate with an average of 3.55 per game. At Home he has cashed this line in 8/11 games (72.7%) with an average of 4.18 per game. He faced Toronto three times last season, cashing in all three games with a combined total of 14 shots on goal (4.67 per game) and earning 5+ in two games. Three of his last 4 home games have seen shot totals of 6 or more for Larkin. With the increased volume in recent games, and at home specifically, along with his past successes against Toronto last season, I really like the ladder opportunity on him tonight. Can't forget to mention that Toronto is riddled with injuries to their defense, now with 5 defenders on IR. When playing these ladders, make sure profit from the first step (3+) not only covers the remaining steps but leaves you with a half unit of profit if it's the only step that hits.

New Jersey @ NY Rangers

Jack Hughes Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-125, 1 unit to win 0.8 units)As with the Vegas/Columbus matchup, not a lot jumps out at me on shot props for this game. Both teams have been very productive offensively and have squashed productivity defensively. Honestly, everyone looks like coinflips. The one with the highest ceiling that I can find is Jack Hughes. He beat this line in 1 of 2 games against NYR last year, he's cashed in 7 of his last 10 games overall, and while he is 6/10 on the road this season his average is 4.7 per game because he earned 5+ shots on goal in all six of those cashes. he earned 7+ shots on goal in 4/6 cashes. Mostly due to him having the most potential for a massive night, he's my play for this game.

Tampa Bay @ Buffalo

Jeff Skinner Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-175, 1.75 units to win 1 unit)

Jeff Skinner is solid at home, averaging 3 per game and hitting in 2/3rds of his home games this season. He posted 7 shots on goal when Buffalo faced Tampa Bay in their first meeting this season. Now they play in Buffalo where the Sabres have an increased Shot on Goal average as a team.

Dallas @ St. Louis

Dallas Season SOG Avg: 31.6

Jason Robertson Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-135, 2 units to win 1.48 units)Robertson has turned up the heat for Dallas in recent weeks. After a slow start to the season, this young man has now cashed 4+ shots on goal in 11 of his last 14 games (78.6% hit rate). Against the Blues last season he cashed this line in 3/4 meetings, earning 3 in the one miss, when he still wasn't as critical of a part to this offense as he is now with production slowing from Team captains Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. Six of Jason's last 10 games have seen him earn 5+ shots on goal, and in road games he has hit 4+ in 5 of his last 6 games and in 7 of 12 on the road all season.

Florida @ Edmonton

Florida Season SOG Avg: 40.1
Florida Season SOGA Avg: 31.8
Florida Road SOG Avg: 41.1
Florida Road SOGA Avg: 29.5

Edmonton Season SOG Avg: 31.9

Edmonton Home SOG Avg: 32.3
Edmonton Home SOGA Avg: 33.4

Carter Verhaeghe Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140, 2.8 units to win 2 units)

Verhaeghe has been one of the most consistent guys on the ice in recent weeks, earning 4+ shots on goal in 9 of his last 11 games overall and 3+ shots on goal in 62% of his games overall this season. He went 1/2 last season against Edmonton hitting this line, but in their first matchup this season Carter earned 4 against the Oilers. It's pretty shocking that even with an average of 40 shots on goal per game this season that Florida could be out-pacing that on the road with 41.1 per game, so with that in mind and the recent run of form, i'm big on Carter tonight. It's also worth noting that Aleksander Barkov is again out tonight for the 3rd straight game, and he typically gets a lot of volume, so those shots will be spread out among the other Panther players.

High Price, High Risk, High Value Combos:
Larkin 4+ & Verhaeghe 4+ (+646, 0.5 units to win 3.23 units)
Larkin 5+ & Verhaeghe 5+ (+2150, 0.2 units to win 4.3 units)
