If you're anything like me, you had some combination of Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast and are ready to watch and bet on some hockey today. The NHL has 14 games going today, 6 during the day and 8 this evening. It's still up in the air if I'll have time to write an article for this evening, but I wanted to quick highlight two player props I feel particularly good about in these early games.

Kaprizov OVER 3.5 Shots on Goal

If I'm being honest, I'm literally going to take him at 3.5 SOG anytime he is playing at Xcel Energy Center and I'm not going to feel bad about it. He hit at a 60%+ rate on home ice last season and has hit in 8 of 10 in St Paul so far this season. Toronto is not nearly as intimidating on the road this season compared to at home. When away from Toronto, the Leafs are giving up 32 shots on goal per game. Kaprizov is averaging 7.4 attempts per game in this last stretch and is in a good position to continue his high-volume shooting ways on home ice today, especially if the Wild find their way to some power play opportunities.

Lindholm OVER 2 Shots on Goal

Getting it done lately, Lindholm has hit in 5 of his last 6 overall and 3 of 4 on the road. He hit in both matchups with the Capitals last season and 5 of their last 7 meetings going back to 2018. Lindholm is averaging 5+ shot attempts per game in his last 5 games and while Washington is only allowing 27.55 shots on goal per game on home ice, the Flames are averaging nearly 38 per game while on the road. There's not much reason to think the Capitals can truly slow Calgary down.

Big slate, plenty of other great opportunities out there today, these are just two I quite like. I'll hopefully be back later in the day with a few plays for tonight's games. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
