I know that doesn't sounds great but get this. 10 of those 11 games where he went over this line were against opponents that are in the top 10 teams of pts+ast allowed to opposing PGs. Because Lillard is out, Simon's is starting at PG and NYK gives up the 5th most pts+ast to opposing PGs. They allow the most points to opposing PGs and the 5th most assists per game. Since he's more of a SG naturally I think he will just attack NYK straight on and start scoring early.
