It's a massive NHL slate tonight, and there are a few players coming up on big career milestones in advantageous matchups tonight, and I am going to take a stab on them to capitalize on the opportunity. I've got a handful of plays here varying in unit size, that I am going to breakdown here, let's get into it.

Tonight the Boston Bruins will be travelling to Tampa Bay for a matchup with the Lightning. There are two guys in this one that I am going to be targeting as they approach major career milestones. The Bruins have been on fire to start the year, and are scoring 4.11 goals per 60 minutes on the road this season, which is the third most in the NHL, so a matchup with the Lightning isn't going to scare me off of these guys tonight.

Patrice Bergeron Over 0.5 Points (-145) @ DraftKings Sportsbook

Bergeron is currently sitting at 999 career points coming into this one, and has a point in seven of his last 10 games, and nine points in those 10 games. On top of that, Bergeron had two points in three games against the Lightning last season, and is a guy that continuously comes up big for this Bruins team, I think he can get this milestone point tonight in a big game against the Lightning.

Jake DeBrusk Over 0.5 Points (-105) @ DraftKings / Over 0.5 Goals (+250)  @ Caesars

Debrusk is another guy right on the edge of a milestone, currently sitting at 99 career goals and plays along side Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. He had two points in three games against the Lightning last season, although both came in the same game. However, Debrusk has a point in seven of his last 10 games, and a goal in five of his last 10. He has been, exceptional on the road this season, having six points in seven games. Debrusk has been playing well as he closes in on this record, scoring in two straight games In a perfect world we get a Debrusk Goal assisted by Bergeron to cover all three bets

Tyler Toffoli Over 0.5 Goals (+250) @ Caesars

Toffoli has been a machine covering his shot on goal line this season, but is currently sitting at 199 career goals, and will be matching up with a Flyers team who are allowing the fifth most expected goals allowed in the NHL over the last 10 games. The Flyers also haven't been very good on the penalty kill this season, allowing 0.83 PK Goals/Game this season. Toffoli has scored four of his six goals on the powerplay this season, and should have plenty of chances to shoot, with the Flyers allowing the second most shot attempts per game.

Matt Duchene Over 0.5 Goals (+160) @ Caesars

Tonight the Nashville Predators are at home to take on the Arizona Coyotes, and Matt Duchene is two goals away from hitting the 300 mark. Nashville has been struggling to score this season, but scored four goals in three games against the Coyotes last season. Duchene has only scored four goals so far this season, but is second on the Predators in individual expected goals for. We only need one, but if Duchene were to score a hattrick tonight he would leap past Blake Wheeler into 22nd on the active scorers list. The Coyotes will be playing their seventh straight road game, and have lost three straight on the puck line, I think this is a matchup where Duchene can ultimately push closer to his 300th career goal.

Erik Karlsson Over 0.5 Powerplay Points (+250) @ Bet365

No milestone watch here, but Karlsson is matching up with his former team the Ottawa Senators tonight at home in San Jose. I have already broke down my thoughts on this game in another article on Pine this morning, but the Senators can't stay out of the penalty box, having to try and kill of the fourth most penalty kills, have average the third most penalty minutes per game.

Karlsson has covered this line in four of five games this season at home when he has played 2.5 minutes or more on the powerplay. Karlsson is continuing to make his push for the Norris, and has 20 of his 28 points at home this season. He is playing at an elite offensive level, and I'll take a stab here against the Senators who are allowing 0.88 penalty kill goals per game.
