It is very rare that the Anaheim Ducks will play, and I will back less than two shooters on the opposing side, but the problem is, the Jets might have the worst prop odds of any team in the NHL... Both Marc Scheifele and Blake Wheeler has hit in only 35% of games this season and somehow are both listed at -130 of higher, Pierre Luc-Dubois has been the one bright spot of this team, and would have covered a 3.5 line in 50% of games this season, but the books refuse to move the line there, and instead are hanging 2.5 still with all kinds of juice.

But I think I have found a bit of hidden gem here, one of my favorite targets from the end of last season is starting to turn it on again, and the books are offering him at plus money here tonight, let's get into it.

Josh Morrissey Over 2.5 Shots On Goal (+120) @ Bet365

Morrissey has had an extremely slow start to the season from a shot production stand point, he has only covered in three games so far this season, but two of those covers came in the Jets last two home games, where he has totaled nine shots over those two games.

I think a big part of Morrissey's lack of shot production has come from the level of competition they have played. The Jets have opened up the year playing against a bunch of good teams, and a bunch of teams that excel limiting shots coming from the point. But over his last five games, we are starting to see that volume from last season come back. Over his last five, Morrissey is averaging 5.2 shot attempts, and has six or more shot attempts in three of the last four games.

At this point, it is widely known that the Ducks are BAD, they are allowing a league high 37.93 shots per game, and have an even higher shots allowed average on the road sitting at 39.46, which is also the most shots allowed per game on the road. The Ducks are allowing the fourth most shots per game to defensemen this season, and Morrissey in playing top two minutes, and playing on the first line powerplay. I think this is a matchup where Morrissey can continue to build on his recent success, and get back to the form we saw him in last season.
