Pick 10: Penguins ML(1.54 on Bet365)

Risk 2u

Actually placed this one earlier this day when the odds were 1.65, and I still like this pick very much. You won't see me posting too much NHL as my main focus are NBA and soccer, but these kind of bets I have to share.

The Penguins (4-2-1) are traveling to Vancouver as they'll play Canucks (1-5-1) in their 4th game of the road trip on the west. They're coming into this match after 2 losses (vs Oilers and Flames who are top teams in the west), so I will take my chances for Pens' bounce-back game tonight. Also, Guentzel might come back tonight, which would boost Pens' offense tonight.

Despite those 2 losses, they're one of the top teams, and tonight they will start their usual starter goalie: Jarry, who has been great this season with a 4-1 record and .923 save percentage.

On the other side, Canucks won their last game against Kraken, but that shouldn't be much of an indicator considering Kraken's team this year. They'll most probably start their back up goalie Martin tonight, who started 1 game and lost 1 this season. Canucks are also B2B with traveling between games - so fatigue might kick in.

Regarding the offense, Penguins have upper hand here. They rank 1st in goals per game, and 2nd in shots per game, 2nd in expected goals.

Canucks are uncomparable to those stats, they rank 27th in goals per game, 22nd in shots per game, and 23rd in expected goals. Oh, and they're not defensive unit either. They rank 29th in goals against per game, and they have difficulties keeping the puck away from their third.
