Some times it takes a few weeks for roles to get clearly defined in the NFL, especially when dealing with injuries and rookies coming into the league.  Let’s check out a rookie on the rise.

Bet: Breece Hall o2.5 receptions -110

Breece Hall is a very interesting rookie prospect with the Jets offense.  With Wilson just coming back from injury last week we started to get a glimpse of how their offense will perform this season.  Hall was heavily involved last week getting 17 rushing attempts and 6 targets in the passing game.  Hall outsnapped his backfield mate Carter for the 2nd week in a row and last week with a 46 to 31 snap advantage.  Hall has been heavily involved in the passing game through 4 weeks:

Getting 6+ targets is a great sign of how Hall will be involved moving forward and with his matchup this week should provide plenty of opportunity to get to 3+ receptions.  Miami has allowed 25 receptions to RB’s through 4 weeks with New England getting 7 and Buffalo putting up 14 receptions to their group 2 weeks ago.  The Jets also allow the highest pressure rate on passing plays which will keep Wilson looking to dump off to his backs and combine that with Hall’s snap count makes for a very enticing play at this number!
