Welcome back gang! So far this season we are 1-1 on our NFL Pine Props, and looking forward to cashing another play here. Week 4's Pine Prop of the Week is going to be Tony Pollard over 59.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards -115.

Tony Pollard is 2nd on the depth chart, but has been turning heads with his efficient play. Pollard is averaging 5.5 yards per carry and 11.5 yards per reception, while Zeke is averaging 4.0 YPC and -1.7 Yards per catch through the first 3 games. These numbers show just how explosive Pollard has been early on this year. Though he may not get the volume to put up RB1 fantasy numbers, he makes the most with what he has. Pollard last season, had 12 games where he touched the ball 9 times, he eclipsed 60 total yards in 11 of those. So far this season, he is 2-0 in such outings as well. He's got game breaking speed, and against this Washington front 7, speed is going to be at premium.

According to Pro Football Focus, Dallas only has a 6% matchup advantage in Pass and run blocking this week. This is much lower than usual for Dallas, so let's take a look how other teams succeeded on the ground versus the Commanders. The answer is, explosive and shifty backs were the most successful.  James Robinson, Travis Ettiene and De'Andre Swift all went over this 60 yard total and all averaged over 6 yards per touch. These explosive backs have given the Commanders fits, and I expect the same thing to happen here.

With all this being said, Cooper Rush is still the QB of this team, and Gallup and Dalton Schultz are not 100%. The Cowboys will need to get after Carson Wentz and run the football well to get this division win at home. Not only do I love this line at 59.5, the Pine AI Bot also loves it, projecting Pollard at around 68 total yards!
