Jordan Groshans Over 0.5 TB is the Prop of the Day. This prop is a great on to take today either on PrizePicks or on Books. This month the Marlins brought up top prospect Jordan Groshans. He used to be the top prospect for the Bluejays until he got traded to the Marlins. Today Groshans is playing the Mets and facing Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco has been giving up hits lately and all of this year to good teams and even bat hitting teams. Lately he has been averaging around 5 hits allowed the past couple of weeks.

So far Groshans has played 10 games so far for the Marlins since being called up. In those 10 games he's 7/L10 for hitting this 0.5 TB prop. Jordan has been one of the best hitters for the Marlins in the month of September. So far he's hitting .289 in those 10 games and bouncing around the infield. With Carrasco's pitch arsenal and his 3 best pitches are the 4 seam, slider, and changeup. For Groshans he hits the 4 seam really well and also the changeup, the slider not so good, but if he can hit 2 of his best 3 pitches well we have a great chance. With Carrasco the batting average vs his 4 seam is .327 this year and off the changeup its .220. Changeup is a lot lower than the 4 seam, but with Groshans having a high average vs the changeup it gives us a great shot. Another thing that really helps Groshans out in this situation is that Carrasco has really poor perceptual numbers when it comes to Barrel % and Hard Hit %. He's sitting at 44% for the Barrel % and 41 for the Hard Hit % this year through all of his starts. With all of this look for Jordan to get a base hit off of Carrasco tonight, and Groshans stays hot at the plate for the Marlins.
