The Panthers have a really bad rush defense ranking 24th in run defense. The Giants don't have the best offensive line, but for Barkley he makes it work. Barkley is pretty much the whole Giants offense. Barkley is like a JT were he's going to get the work load and the TDs in most of the games he plays. Saquon hasn't faced the Panthers since his rookie year in 2018. Can't really compare that 2018 team to now, because they are different. Last week the Panthers faced the Browns and gave up a total of 217 rushing yards. Nick Chubb had 141 of those and Barkley should get around the same number tomorrow. The fact that the Browns were just feeding the ball to Chubb last week was nuts. With the no offense that the Giants have you kinda have to compare it to the Browns. Comparing the WRs and the QBs, the only thing that both teams have are a good starting running back. Where in this case they run the ball a whole lot. The only thing that makes the Browns a little bit better is that they have a better offensive line than the Giants. The books have Barkley at even line at 76.5 rush yards. So with the line at 74.5 the odds would probably be still at even line or -130 for the over. This is the kind of performance we hoped for to see out of Barkley after positive reports emerged from training camp all offseason. It helped that this first carry in the 3rd quarter was a run for 68 yards. So look to have Barkley go over his 74.5 Rushing Yards Props.
