This is a slightly high line in general but I still love the over. Cease has been on fire with Ks this year posting only one game below 8 and that was also the game where he gave up the most hits so safe to say he had a bad day. Outside of that game he has posted 8 or more strikeouts in 6 of 7 games including 9 against this same Royals team on 4/27 for an average over 8 Ks per game this season. He has a 27% strikeout rate against this current Royals roster and has a 36% strikeout rate with .193 OPP BA this season which is a career best in both. Cease is on fire and I will ride the hot hand. I think this line should be higher and gives some room for error even if he doesn't hit 8.
