Don't think I stopped with two games. Here are the rest of my MLB bets for the day with some plus money bets I feel good about.
Braves vs Brewers
Lorenzo Cain Over 0.5 Bases (-195)
Cain hasn't had the best season so far hitting this at a 48% clip but has become a little more consistent with hitting it in 5 of the last 8 games. The main reason I like this play is due to his history against Chavez. He is batting .438 against him in 16 at bats with 7 hits, 1 double, and 1 homer. I like Cain to get at least one hit today.
Marcell Ozuna Over 1.5 Bases (+105) and Ozuna Over 0.5 Homeruns (+350) for 0.5 Unit
I am hedging the homer bet here a little by taking the bases bet, but I really like both of these plays. Ozuna has not been good as of late and has not hit this since 4/28; however, I think he has a good shot to turn that around today agains Lauer. In 9 at bats against Lauer, Ozone has 6 hits and 3 home runs. That's a .666 BA and a whopping .333 HR rate and there is enough data there to have me take a shot at it. He very well could miss this but the numbers tell me there is a good chance
Eric Lauer Over 5.5 Ks (-135)
Lauer has been absolutely great this year and has 11 and 13 strikeouts the last two games. He just missed this mark in his first two games of the season with 5 Ks in each game. He faces the Braves who have the most strikeouts as a team in the league along with the Orioles. I can see him hitting this easily today.
Astros vs Tigers
Akil Baddoo Over 0.5 Bases (-120)
Baddoo is not a great hitter and young, but he is on a 3 game hit streak and faces Garcia who he owns a 1.000 BA against in 4 at bats with 3 doubles. I am taking the over, especially at 0.5.
Tucker Barnhart Over 0.5 Bases (-105)
Has hit this in 8 of the last 10 and trending up in his hits of late.
Miguel Cabrera Over 0.5 Bases (-185)
Padres vs Marlins
Sandy Alcantara Over 4.5 Ks (-165)
Has hit this in every game besides his first this year. Going against a Padres team that is above the league average in strikeouts. I like the spot for Alcantara
