In their last ten games, the Philadelphia 76ers are 6-4 as Joel Embiid tries to return to his MVP form after a knee injury. While he reaggravated the knee in Friday night’s loss to the Pelicans, Embiid did play in Saturday’s game against the Thunder, where he posted 27 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes of play.

In the stretch without Embiid, the 76ers top scorer was Tobias Harris. Harris was the only player to surpass 15 PPG and may not play on Wednesday due to a knee injury of his own. If Embiid is still managing a nagging knee injury, the 76ers may not have enough offensive firepower to beat a Brooklyn team improving on defense.

However, two of Brooklyn's three stars are hobbled as well. James Harden is out until at least mid-April with a hamstring injury and Kevin Durant (as of the time of writing) is only two games returned from his own hamstring injury that sidelined him for nearly two months. Despite not yet playing over 25 minutes, he has posted at least 17 points in both games, coupled with seven rebounds and five assists in each.

While currently tied, Brooklyn might enter the match-up leading the East. On Monday night, both teams play, but the Nets play the league-worst Timberwolves while the 76ers must face a Mavericks team 7-3 in their last ten games.

My player to watch is Kevin Durant. Wednesday is likely to mark his first game with at least 30 minutes, and he will be the adrenaline shot the Nets need with Harden out.
