I am taking the Cardinals to win outright today. The pitching discrepancy is the main reason behind this pick. The Royals are starting Kris Bubic who has been bad this year so far with 16 hits in 12 innings pitched and a 10.50 ERA in 4 games. Bubic has only lasted 4 or more innings in 2 of 4 games this year. On the other side the Cardinals are rolling out Waino who has been great and is one of the smartest pitchers in the league with his control of the ball. The Cardinals bats didn't show up last night, but I expect them to bounce back today. The Cards own the lowest strikeout percentage in the league so far so balls will be put in play. I am taking the Cards to win this game and the series.
