Pick #5: Burkina Faso draw no bet (1.66)
Don’t necessarely like betting anything else other than unders and Cameroon to win on Afcon anymore but I really like this pick today.
Burkina Faso (60th in the FIFA world raking) faces Cape Verde (73rd in the FIFA world ranking). Burkina Faso comes from a loss against a Cameroon team that is looking very good in this tournament. However, Burkina Faso managed to keep that game close and create several chances: outshooting Cameroon with 6 shots in the target to 4. On the other hand, Cape Verde barely managed to scrape a win against a 10-men Ethiopia since the 12th minute.
I believe the last 5 games, even though they seem to favor Cape Verde show a different story because the opponents Burkina Faso has been facing were a lot better. The only expection being the draw Cape Verde managed to take against Nigeria but that was a game that Nigeria didn’t need to win.
Thus, I believe Burkina Faso will try their best to get a win today and will minimally get a draw in todays game since anything other than that really complicates their chances of going through to the next round considering Cape Verde already has 3 points.
