Pick 5: Mavericks ML (1.72)
Again me going against myself and betting on ML in NBA, but hey - I like this spot.
Mavericks have picked up a great pace in their last 5 matches, and in those matches are ranked 1st defensive team!
On the other hand, the Knicks are up-down this season, but they do not look particularly well. Their offensive rating has dropped, currently sitting at 25th place on offensive rating in their last 10 matches.
Two days rest for Mavs should give them more than enough rest, and Dončić has looked fantastic in their previous matches. He is utilizing his speed and craftiness to the max, using pick & pops and driving to the rim.
Knicks have been without Kemba for a while now, and that has been noticeable in offensive creativity. He's expected to return today, but I don't think that's the case. He injured his knee and he might sit one out today, as well. If he's out, that means Quickley and Burks get more time/usage - which would be good for this ML bet, as Burks is not shot creator, nor facilitator.
Quickley has his moments, but I don't think he'll be a turning point. If Randle keeps going today as he's been going the whole season, we're most likely set up to see Mavs take the win here.
