PICK #5: Barcelona over 1.5 (1.53 / -189) at Bet365
Another Copa del Rey pick, after yesterday's win on Espanyol game.
Today Barcelona team is traveling to Linares, and the game starts at 7:30 CET (6 hours after typing this post).
Linares is 3rd division team, and they're not doing very well, as they're placed at 14th place. They're in the same league as Barcelona B (reserves), and reserves have won 2-1. Which leaves me with the impression that 1st Barcelona team should not have difficulties scoring 2 pieces here - despite being hit by Covid and injuries.
Barcelona is coming into this match after difficult match against Mallorca, but they managed to win 1-0.
Xavi has announced his squad, and lot of 1st team players are going, including Dembele (which, as Barca fan, I don't know if I should be happy or not - given the situation him and Club are going through).
Dani Alves is also included in a squad for the very first time since returning to the club after confirmation of his registration from the Spanish Football League.
What I like in this squad is that Araujo, Sergio, Puig, De Jong (scored against Mallorca) and Alba are all there. So we will probably see mixture in starting XI here, with 5 standards and youngsters filling the pieces.
Again, reserves already scored 2 againast Linares this season, so I don't think Linares can hold up against even better players today. Despite them being, as Xavi said, sound and compact team.
