Okay, so this week, I dove into the Pine Sports website for the first time since the beginning and tried creating my first NFL model. I made one for the ML and one for ATS. My ATS model is currently ranked 2nd on the Pine Sports leaderboard.
I ended up at 11-4 for a 73.3% correct pick percentage. It was my best week of the year and I am pretty impressed with the model. I initially made most of those picks early in the week, with earlier lines, and checked in once or twice as the week progressed, but don't think I ended up changing anything based on news, or at least I don't remember if I did. So, of course Dak didn't play, and I still spotted the Cowboys an extra point and still won. Go model!
Sadly, I didn't bet real money on this because I wanted to try it out first, but guess what? I think I will this week... Maybe I'll try and post my chronicles as I go...
