For my LIIC pick I’m locking in the over on tonight’s game between the Knicks and the Raptors
So far this season the Knicks have been putting up some great numbers, scoring on average 117 and giving up 109 points. The Raptors have scored on average 103 and given up only 99 points. But that changes tonight.
Tonight’s o/u line is currently at 208.5, which is nearly the total of both teams’ opponent score — how many points each have given up this season. Given that, let’s see if there’s any indication that e
New York’s defensive rating is on the rise, which means they’ve increasingly given up more points. Given that they’re a strong defensive team but have performed well offensively too, there’s opportunity for the Raptors to score more than the Knicks have given up, on average this season.
The Raptors too have been hit or miss defensively over the last few games. They are trending towards a stronger defense but the Knicks know how to capitalize offensively and I think we’ll see them do that tonight.
Based on this, I think we’ll see each team give up more points than they have on average this season, which if true, would give us a victory on the over. Let’s see what happens.
