Looking to bounce back with pick number three i'm taking the Washington Football team to beat the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football. Both teams are seeking their first win of the season, but I believe Washington is much more equipped to capture the W than New York is.

Washington has one of the best defenses in the league, starting up front with star defensive end Chase Young. The Giants, meanwhile, have one of the worst offensive lines in the league. This matchup is in clear favor of Washington, so I'm expecting Giants QB Daniel Jones to be in some trouble as he drops back all night long.

Washington's defense should force a few three and outs on the Giants, meaning their defense will have to be on the field for much longer than coach Joe Judge would want them to be. The more they're on the field, the easier it will be for Washington's budding offense to come alive for scores.

The Giants will also be facing adversity within their squad on the offensive side of the football. Tight end Evan Engram will be out again for tonight's game, taking away one of Daniel Jones' favorite weapons. Saquon Barkley, who very recently recovered from his season ending injury last season is now playing his second game in five days. Barkley spoke about this himself, saying it will definitely be a tough stretch as he works his way back to his old self. Barkley's week one performance was subpar, and with the short week's rest I wouldn't expect a breakout performance tonight.

Washington seems to be the better team heading into this matchup. With a shaky Giants offense and the ever so strong Washington defense, I'm expecting a relatively low scoring game in which the Football Team comes out on top.
