Grayson Allen Over 12.5 Pts (-122 DK)
Allen is averaging 19 points per game in the regular season series. Allen has been very aggressive in the pick & roll and in full attack mode with Durant getting the McDaniels matchup and Booker struggling some with the Timberwolves size along with them being so focused on trying to take away the midrange, Allen must be aggressive in this series. I love the off-ball actions they’ve run for Allen, as they’ll get him moving around when Booker is running Pick & Roll, confusing the defense on who to pick up as they’ll put all the focus on the midrange, leaving him open for three. I expect more of those off ball actions tonight. On top of that there have been some instances where Anthony-Towns must defend him as they’ll try to hide him from playing defense on Kevin Durant. The other main defender will be Mike Conley who has been the main one to get lost on these off-ball actions. Allen needs to continue to stay aggressive and is my X-Factor in this series for the Suns to win, who happen to matchup very well.

I am looking for Anthony Edwards to handle most of the ball handling duties tonight as he has during the season series with the most passes and touches. They will need Conley off ball to hit threes as the Timberwolves have had a lot of open threes, but role players have not done their job knocking shots down. The Suns will look like trap Edwards as they don’t have a single player who can stay in front of him. They’ve creeped into the driving lanes, which leaves shooters open when Edwards is at the top of the key. Edwards, with all the attention he’ll get, should be the main facilitator. In this season series, he’s averaging 6 potential assists and 2.7 actual assists per game. with Conley having one of the better three-point shooting percentages for the team, he is going to be needed to knock down those shots when he and others have the opportunities.
