My first pick of this weeks challenge to me seems like an absolute steal with the Giants to cover a +1.5 spread on the road against the Mets tonight. I felt like I had to get this line just before it changed into more of a favorite.
The chart below shows the total runs scored by the Giants (green) and their opponent (blue) while the Giants are on the road. Not only did the Giants win six of their nine last games on the road, but they also hypothetically covered a +1.5 run spread in eight of those nine games.
To me this seems like the most obvious choice for today, although that of course doesn't mean its a definite victory. The Giants are one of the best teams in baseball, while the mets have been struggling to fight their way back in the NL East.
Trust the Giants to either win or at least lose the game by a run or loess tonight against the Mets.
