Hello and welcome to another edition of Money on the Board! My goal with this series is to provide you with four player props for each NHL slate that I am feeling confident in - a goal, an assist, a point, and an SOG prop. In the interest of not getting too chalky, at least 2 of the props will be plus money. Hopefully this will be a fun and profitable way to get more information on quality NHL player props each day. Let's get started:
Kaprizov Goal (+110)
Just can't quit this guy lol. Goals in 6 of his last 7 games and in both games vs the Ducks this season. Generally more of a home dog but given this matchup I'll take my chances - Anaheim is giving up the 3rd most goals per game on home ice over the last month.
Alternative pick - Forsberg Goal (+120)
Goals in 7 of his last 11 games overall and 3 of his last 4 on home ice. Preds are 2nd in scoring at home over the last month while the Sharks are giving up the 6th most goals per game on the road in that time.
Nyquist Assist (+120)
Helpers in 6 of his last 9 games overall and 7 of his last 9 on home ice. He has assists in both games vs San Jose this season and this is a great spot for Nashville to score.
Alternative pick - Guentzel Assist (+100)
Assists in 6 of his last 8 games overall and 3 of 4 on the road. He has helpers in 3 of 4 games since joining the Hurricanes and they get a great matchup tonight vs a struggling Islanders defense.
Hagel Point (-140)
Points in 17 of his last 20 games overall and 12 of 13 on the road. He missed when they played the Golden Knights earlier in the season but the Lightning are #5 in scoring on the road lately while Vegas are top 5 in goals against per game at home - great spot for Tampa to score.
Alternative pick - Bouchard Point (-190)
Over in 8 of his last 11 games overall and 6 straight on home ice. Had a point when they faced off earlier in the season. Great matchup for Edmonton to score.
Hanifin 2+ Shots (-192)
Over in 10 of his last 11 games overall and 7 of 8 on home ice. The buzz is that Hanifin preferred to be traded to Tampa at the deadline but instead got shipped to Vegas. Over in 4 of his last 5 meets with the Bolts, Hanifin has 2+ shots in 4 of 5 games since being traded.
Alternative Pick - Eichel 4+ Shots
Over in 8 of his last 9 games overall and 4 of 5 on home ice. Eichel hit vs Tampa earlier in the season and has 4+ shots in 5 of 6 games since returning from injury. Good matchup for Vegas to generate shots as Tampa has given up the 7th most on the road over the last month.
