Hello and welcome to another edition of Money on the Board. In this article I'll share 4 of my favorite NHL player props for today's slate - a goal, an assist, a point, and a shot on goal prop. To keep things from getting too chalky, at least two of the props will be plus money. Took a break last week due to the trade deadline, but back at it this week, starting off with a nice 4-game Monday slate. Let's get started.
Kreider Goal (+150)
Good matchup for Kreider & Co. as they host the Devils tonight at MSG. Rangers are 8th in scoring over the last three weeks while the Devils are giving up the 6th most goals per game. Kreider has goals in 3 of his last 4 overall, 4 of his last 5 on home ice, and has goals in 11 of his last 17 matchups with New Jersey, including 4 of 7 played in Manhattan.
Strome Assist (+165)
The Washington Capitals have been the league's top scoring team over the last three weeks and tonight they take on Winnipeg Jets and their so-so defense. Strome has helpers in 9 of his last 10 games overall, as well as 4 of his last 5 on the road. It's looking like he'll be down on the 3rd line tonight, centering a red-hot Sonny Milano (5-game goal streak) and a returning T.J. Oshie. He remains on PP1 and seems to be a reliable playmaker no matter where he is in the lineup.
Zacha Point (-125)
While Boston is a middle of the pack offensive team this season, they are still good for a few goals a game and get a decent matchup tonight vs St Louis. Zacha has points in 4 straight games, including 3 straight on home ice. Sharing a line with David Pastrnak, hard not to think he gets at least a point tonight.
Horvat 3+ Shots on Goal (-105)The Islanders are 11th in shots per game over the last few weeks and face off with the Kings tonight. Horvat has been a reliable shot for them lately, having 3+ in 7 of his last 9 games overall and 9 straight on the road. Two teams hungry for every point they can find in the playoff hunt, this should be a good game and I expect top guys like Bo to be shooting.
