Hello and welcome to another edition of Money on the Board! In this article I'll share with you 4 of my favorite NHL player props for today's slate - a goal, an assist, a point, and a shot on goal prop. To keep things from getting too chalky, at least two of the props will be plus money. We went 11-5 across the first four of these, including one sweep - looking to keep up the momentum today on a six-game slate of games. Here we go.

Miller Goal (+175)

Tempted to go back to the well with Hyman on home ice today, but just can't resist this matchup for Miller & the Canucks. Goals in 4 of his last 6 games overall, including 5 in his last 3 games on the road. While Vancouver has sometimes struggled to score as of late, they should get their chances against a Ducks team giving up the second most goals per game over the last month. Miller has been a high-volume shooter lately and that should help him find the back of the net here. Going back to Fall 2021, Miller has goals in 6 of 9 meetings with Anaheim.

D Strome Assist (+165)

Strome has been a consistent point producer for the Capitals this season, and while early in the year that was more balanced, lately he tends to be more of a facilitator, so we are getting good value on an assist prop that has been nearly as reliable as his point prop. 8 helpers in his last 5 games overall, 5 in his last 3 home games. Over the last month Washington has been one of the top scoring teams in the league while their opponent Arizona has given up the most goals per game.

McDavid 2+ Points (+105)

While I chose to forego Hyman and his ridiculous home hit rate, I can't do the same with McDavid, particularly when they are hosting Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. 68% hit rate on home ice this season, including 2+ in each of his last 8 games. Edmonton has one of the top offenses in the league and while the Pens are generally sturdy defensively, they struggle against top-tier opponents. McDavid has 12 points in his last 4 meetings with Pittsburgh, with 4 points in 3 of the 4 games.

Rossi 2+ Shots on Goal (-184)

Obligatory homer pick here but backed by data! Over in 8 of his last 9, with 3+ shots in 3 of his last 4 games. 66% hit rate on home ice this season. San Jose is one of the worst teams in the league defensively, giving up plenty of shots on goal overall and especially to the Center position. The last week saw the Wild go from just outside a wild card spot to 10 points down after losing three straight. While the odds are getting very long that Minnesota can turn it around and make a run, tonight on home ice they'll be playing for pride and looking to stop the bleeding against an inferior opponent. I trust Rossi to get it done for us as the team looks for a spark.
