Money On the Board - NHL Player Props for Feb. 27
Welcome back to another edition of Money on the Board! Here I'll share with you my 4 favorite player props for tonight's NHL slate - one goal, one assist, a point, and a SOG prop. To keep it from getting too chalky, at least two of the props will be plus money. Yesterday we went 2-2, let's aim to hit on 3 or 4 of these tonight. Here we go.
Suzuki Goal (+170)
9 goals in his last 9 games, 6 in his last 6 home games. I like this spot for Suzuki tonight vs a struggling Coyotes team that has given up the most goals per game on the road over the last month.
M Tkachuk Assist (-130)
55% hit rate this season, 5 apples in his last 3 home games - guy has been on a roll. Buffalo has been fairly stingy on the road lately, but with 2+ assists in 4 of his last 7 games, it's clear Tkachuk is a big part of Florida's offensive attack lately and I trust him to get it done for us tonight.
Kane Point (-164)
Dude is just on a heater lately, with 11 points in his last 8 games and 6 points in his last 4 on home ice. Tonight, he gets a decent matchup vs a so-so Capitals squad that he has points against in each of his last 5 meetings going back to the 21-22 season.
Thompson 4+ Shots (+132)
Over in 8 of his last 9 overall & with 19 shots in his last 3 road games, I like Thompson to get it done for us tonight facing off against the Panthers. He has been averaging 8 shot attempts per game lately, jumping up to 9 on the road - when he sees between 7-9 shot attempts per game this season, he has hit in 74% of games, including 7 of 8 road games. He had 5 when these two teams faced off two weeks ago, a similar result feels likely tonight.
