Back in the NBA for our Pine Prop of the Day! We have a small NCAAB slate so it is back to the NBA! Today's Prop is going to be Scottie Barnes over 14.5 RA -128 FD.
Today Scottie has hit this number in his last 6 games and gets one of the best matchups in the league against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are one of the top offenses in the NBA, worst defenses in the NBA and play extremely fast. The Pacers also rank last in the NBA in points in the paint allowed and Barnes has been very aggressive over his last 5 games. Barnes ranks 18th in the NBA in drives per game over his last 5 with 11, which in this matchup is a big advantage. Also, over his last 5 games Barnes is top 10 in assists chances per game and top 20 in rebounding chances. We saw this matchup prior to the All Star break and Scottie dominated for 29-12-8 in a 252 point shootout. In my opinion this matchup may be better. The Raptors haven't played since Friday, while the Pacers are coming off a back to back, where they just played Dallas. Lastly, the trade between these two teams have really left this Pacers team in a terrible spot defensively. Losing Bruce Brown was a huge loss for this team, because he was one of the few guys who played defense here. On top of that, Aaron Nesmith, the top wing defender left is out for tonight's second leg of the back to back. I think Scottie goes crazy tonight in this matchup and should be able to stuff the stat sheet. Will also be sprinkling on +125 for a double double and +950 for a triple double.
