Pick 1: Nicolas Jerry ML (1.50 Unibet)

Acosta is playing his first ever career final after an amazing week, where he hasn’t lost a single set yet. This comes after a good run last week in Cordoba and a very good performance in the first round at the Australian Open, despite losing in five sets to Taylor Fritz. He seems set to have by far the best season of his career to date and will be playing for a first ever ATP title tomorrow. Jarry has previously won three ATP titles, all on clay, but had never had such an impressive run as this week in Buenos Aires: he started the week by beating Stan Wawrinka in the third set tiebreak and then went on to beat Etcheverry in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, he pulled off a sensational win over defending champion and World #2 Carlos Alcaraz. That was arguably the most impressive win of his career so far and will give him plenty of motivation for the final. All three previous matchups between these two players were very tight, but all ended up going Jarry’s way. As well as Acosta has been playing this week, Jarry is overall the more solid and consistent player, as well as the one with more experience in this kind of title-deciding matches. He should have a small edge going in.
