Welcome back gang! We are rolling with an NBA prop for you guys tonight. Tonight's play is Julius Randle over 30.5 Points + Rebounds -115.
Randle has been fantastic this year. He's averaging 20 and 10 on the season and that is on absolutely awful true shooting. This year he is shooting 38.7 percent from the field, in 2021 he shot 41% and 2022 he shot 46%, so we should see those numbers regress positively. If we were ever going to see positive regression, it would be in a matchup with this Hornets team. The Hornets allow the most points in the league to the PF position, and allow 52.9 points per game in the paint. This year Randle has really dominated on the glass as well. He is averaging 15.8 rebounding chances per game, resulting in him averaging a double double, which would be back to back seasons of him accomplishing that feat. Averaging 21 and 9 through the first 13 games of the month, we have seen some pop off games in both the scoring and rebounding category, which we want when taking a combo stat. With 4 of those games Randle scoring over 25 points and 6 of those games him grabbing at least 10 rebounds. Love Randle here in a spot where he will get a significantly smaller guy on him in terms of strength, and Mark Williams having to deal with Mitchell Robinson all night. Also should see a lot of minutes even if they Knicks are up big, with this being an in season tournament game as well. Let's get it Julius!
