This weekend's NFL game between Arizona and Cincinnati might just turn out to be a field day for Cardinals' running back James Conner, who's hot on the trail to eclipse the over on the 59.5 rushing yards line set for him.

So far this season, Conner is averaging a respectable 60.15 rushing yards per game, with a slight uptick to 61.38 yards when playing on home turf. In the last 10 games, that average has shot up to 69.2 yards. What's even more impressive is his performance over the last five games where he's been churning up the field with an average of 85.2 rushing yards. That's the kind of momentum you want to see in a player – a steady climb, a consistent build, a man who’s just getting warmed up.

In half of his games this season, Conner has managed to surpass the 59.5 rushing yards mark – that's the line we're looking at for this weekend. Given his recent performances, and that upward trend we've been talking about, it's not unrealistic to expect him to cross that line again when he faces off against Cincinnati.
