Kirk Cousins Over 24.5 Passing Completions

In the NFL, you're only as good as your last game. Unfortunately for the Chargers, their last couple of outings have exposed a glaring issue in their pass defense. Coach Brandon Staley's crew has been about as effective as a screen door on a submarine, opening up prime opportunities for quarterbacks who love to air it out.

Enter Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings.

The Chargers' coverage has been more than just a little shaky. Cornerbacks Michael Davis and Asante Samuel have had their fair share of struggles, allowing a league-high three touchdowns and completions on every target, respectively.

Cousins, a seasoned slinger who's never met a pass he didn't like should be ready to feast. With the Chargers' defense playing like they're stuck in the mud, Cousins has the potential to put up video game numbers this weekend.

And let's not forget about Justin Jefferson. The Vikings' wide receiver has been nothing short of spectacular. He's been on the field for a whopping 121 of 122 snaps, proving his durability and reliability. Jefferson leads the NFL in receptions (31) and yards (681) on passes with a 50% or lower completion probability since the start of last season. Against a Chargers defense that's been handing out receptions like candy, Jefferson could be in for a monster day.

In their previous games, the Vikings' offense has been hampered by turnovers, with a league-leading seven in their first two games. However, if they can keep the ball in their hands and out of the Chargers', the Vikings have the firepower to light up the scoreboard.
