Appetizer (0.75u) - Bo Bichette OVER 2.5 Hits/Runs/RBIs (+120 DraftKings)

Don't do this market much so decided against a full unit. I'll look more into this prop more and more as the season goes on. Let's start with the elephant in the room. Bichette has absolutely dominated Pivetta every chance he's gotten to face him. He has 27 plate appearances with a .417 batting average and has a slugging percentage of .750. He has 6 singles, 2 doubles, and 2 homeruns with 7 RBIs in those 27 plate appearances.

Switching to the other side, Pivetta has allowed 13 runs in his last 3 starts and get's a Blue Jays team who has started off the year well versus right handed pitchers. They're 7th in weight runs created and 13th in on-base percentage. The Blue Jays don't strike out much at 22nd in the league and Pivetta is around the 45th percentile for strikeouts per inning. Versus right handed batters, Pivetta is allowing a .316 weighted on-base average with a .160 ISO. The ISO isn't the most eye popping number but the easy way to hit this bet would be by a 2 run homer.

Bichette is averaging a .175 ISO and a .348 weighted on-base average versus righties in his career. His K% is around 21.7%, which isn't extremely high but also isn't on the lower end like I'd like. However, he's got the best batting average on balls in play on the Blue Jays by far and that's at .363. Bichette is batting second in the order so he should get plenty of chances tonight to go over in this game as I expect runs will be scored by both sides.

In the past 3 seasons, Bichette has hit Pivetta's top 3 pitches fairly well. Pivetta is throwing the 4-seam, knuckle-curve, and a slider versus right-handed batters. Bichette averages a .372 wOBA and has a low 19% whiff rate versus the 4-seam. He averages a .359 wOBA and a .263 ISO versus the knuckle curve. He does have a 39% whiff rate but that's expected versus off speed pitches. Lastly, he's averaging a .308 wOBA and a .179 ISO versus the slider. He only throws the slider 18% versus righties but Bichette will still see it today. On 5/1. he had 9 hits, runs, and RBIs versus the Red Sox and that was facing against Corey Kluber.
