This article will come to as a surprise because there won't be a ton of data to back up these two bets. However, the best part about the NFL Draft every year is the uncertainty. We all expect Bryce Young to go first overall to the Carolina Panthers but after that, it's a load of information just being thrown around on social media about what certain teams are looking to do.

Let's start with the top 3. Like mentioned, Bryce Young goes #1. There were reports about the Texans almost securing the #1 overall pick from the Bears, which makes me believe even more this pick is Bryce Young after the Panthers moved up 8 spots to take the #1 overall pick from the Bears. The growing favorite right now is that the Texans aren't sold on anybody but Bryce Young but that's not a possibility and that's why Will Anderson Jr is the current heavy favorite to go to the Houston Texans at the #2 overall pick with -250 odds. This is where my first bet comes into play.

I believe that the Texans won't pass up on a QB at the #2 selection. I'm no analyst but if they aren't sold on the thought of a guy like Will Levis or Anthony Richardson being there at #12, then they will be rocking with Davis Mills this season. The only clear cut first round QB in next years draft and it's Caleb Williams but just like this year, some pride could cost the Texans their chance to take him next year. So with that being said, I'm taking CJ Stroud to be the #2 overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. The odds I got are +450 on FanDuel but I'd suggest to do line shopping for your best odds. I placed 0.5u on this.

This leads to my next bet, which is Will Anderson Jr to be taken #3 overall! I got +500 odds at FanDuel but once again, make sure to line shop. I'm also taking Paris Johnson Jr to be taken at #3 and his odds on FanDuel are +550. I placed 0.25u on both. However, I'm playing this as I'm right about the Texans still taking CJ Stroud at #2 overall. This would eliminate the rumors of the Tennessee Titans moving up to #3 in a trade with the Cardinals to take a QB, which would presumably be CJ Stroud. It's very likely Arizona could move back a few spots if they have a few guys still available on their board they like, but if it's not with a QB desperate team that has fallen in love with Levis or Richardson, I don't see them moving back. If Stroud goes #2, this likely leaves the Colts at #4 taking Richardson or Levis. A QB needy team could still move up but it doesn't seem likely if the 2 QBs available are going to be Richardson or Levis. With that being said, give the Cardinals at #3 best player available, which is Will Anderson Jr from Alabama.

I'm so excited for the NFL Draft tonight and I can't wait to see what happens!
