Pick #5: Over 3.5 total runs in the 1st 3 innings(-145)

This is not so much a pick based on in-depth statistical analysis but, simply numbers. Just about every book has the over/under for this game at 13 total runs...and you're not even guaranteed a bottom of the 9th at bat in that. The F3 is 1/3rd of a full game so, 13/3=4.33. That would make you think the F3 over/under would be 4.5 runs. Well, that's what just about every other book has but not Caesars. They ran it at 3.5 with descent odds so I'm jumping on it! Tonight's pitching match-up just supports the pick.

Both Velasquez and Urena have career ERAs north of 4.8. That's with neither of them playing most of their careers in Coors Field, the most hitter friendly park in the league. Hopefully the ball keeps flying like it did last night and we get a lot of offense early tonight. The bot doesn't like it but, I'm locked in.
