Pick 3: Under 4.5 runs in the 1st 5 innings(-110)

Both Ashcraft and Elder started the season with solid outings. They both enter this game 1-0 with 6 Ks a piece. They also sport 1.29 and 0.00 ERAs, respectively. To help both starters out, the assigned ump for the game, John Tumpane is one of the more pitcher-friendly umps working today.  He calls about 15% more strikeouts than the league average umpire.

Finally, there is plenty of batter/pitcher unfamiliarity at play here.  According to ESPN(see below) not one single batter in either lineup has had a single plate apperance against either starter. Unfamiliarity usually favors the pitcher as the batter has little idea what they will see. Hopefully both Ashcraft and Elder will be able to work efficiently at least once through the lineup.

The Pine bot projects both starters to combine for 4.79 earned runs so, were looking for that last run to come in after the 5th. Lock it in.
