Pick 2: Over 3.5 Orioles Batters to the Plate - 1st Inning(-185)
O's went three up, three down to start their game against the Red Sox last night. I think I had to dig through their previous 7 games(including last year) to find the last time they did that. They rarely allow a starter to face the minimum number of batters to open a game. The chances of it happening in back to back nights are hopefully slim to none.
They face a descent opponent tonight in Jon Gray but, he's not a typical fast starter. He's only opened one out of his last eight outings by retiring the side in order. So, this is just as much a bet on a slow start by Gray as it is a quick start for the Orioles.
I'm still waiting for tonight's lineups to drop tonight before I lock it in but, here's the Pine projections for the top of Baltimore's order from yesterday. It might be an off night for Rustchman but if he's in the lineup the bot says he, Mullins and Santander are all due for a hit. I'm hoping one of them gets on base in the first and Baltimore can extend the inning. Go O's!
