Back to the well here. Although this game will be without Deandre Ayton, CP3 will manage. He destroys the Kings. He picks apart this defense like it's practice. The Kings go to bed and have nightmares about CP3. And his assist line this game is silly.

Maybe that's a bit dramatic, but is it really? Paul has played the Kings 57 times in his career. In those games, Paul has averaged a double-double with 10.5 assists and 17.7 points. That's including the early years of his legendary career, where he was averaging only 8 or 9 APG.

This year in particular, he logged 19 and 16 assists in the two games that he's played vs SAC. The Kings are particularly vulnerable vs. point guards this year on defense, which has obviously helped Paul reach those crazy assists numbers that he logged in his two matchups this year. But the Kings have not improved on that front at all. They are still allowing the most assists per game in the league, and the 5th most APG to Point Guards. It's just not a good matchup for them, and it would appear that there is nothing they can do to change it.

In those two games, he did have Deandre Ayton, which is something that needs to be addressed for sure. But when you look at CP3's assists in those two games, he still would have cleared this current 9.5 AST line without the assists that went to Ayton. On 2/14 he had 19 total Assists, with 9 going to Ayton. On 3/11 he had 16 total with only 5 going to Ayton. So, even if we completely negate the assists that went to the Center position in those games, CP3 still logged 10 and 11 assists, respectively.

Of course, we can assume that there will be less scoring at the Center position from the Suns tonight, but we can't assume that there will be ZERO. He'll still find a couple assists down low to the bigs, which gives us plenty of room on this prop. I'm projecting his assist number to be 12+ with a ton of upside.

The fact that this line is currently at 9.5 (-110) is crazy to me. Go get it, this line will absolutely move. All the alternate lines on FanDuel are live too. Currently 14+ is the highest I could find so far. But sprinkle that, and keep an eye out throughout the day for 16+ to pop.

Also mixing in some parlays with D-Book's point props. There's a ton of value in those two props and particularly their alternate lines today. Getting a parlay for Paul 12+ AST and Book 35+ points for +500 or more is an absolute steal.

My Pick: CP3 o9.5 (-110) at DraftKings for now. Again, this won't be available for long. I'd lay a lot of juice here though if you miss it. I'd play to -140 or slightly higher. The edge we have here is ridiculous.
