Pick #27: Michigan State ML (-120) on BetMGM

Tom Izzo is great at finding ways to win and he did it again on Sunday when Michigan State managed to shut down Marquette's explosive offense and held the Golden Eagles to 38.5 percent shooting and the Spartans won 69-60. Now Izzo will have to contend with Kansas State and Markquis Nowell, who scored 27 points as the Wildcats beat Kentucky. Michigan State has had some rough spots this season, but it has won four of its past five and has easily covered its first two games of the NCAA Tournament. Kansas State did beat Kentucky, but it previously had lost to West Virginia and TCU prior to the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans have covered the number four of five versus .600 teams and the defensive intensity it showed against Marquette will have the same effect on the Wildcats.
