Here’s the thing about Denver. They are the laziest team in the NBA. Statistically, they do not rank in the top 10 in a SINGLE HUSTLE STAT CATEGORY (per NBA.com). Ranking LAST in box outs, and it’s not even close. But aside from that, they just are flat out hard to watch sometimes as they stand there and let aggressive players collect boards.
I took a Scottie Barnes rebound prop a couple of days ago (follow me on Action for tracking), for this exact reason. Wiseman has been one of the more aggressive rebounders in the league of late, racking up 10, 14, 9, 13 rebounds in his last 4. There will be no one boxing him out this game. Not to mention, the Nuggets should handle the pistons easily here, which means a potential blowout. If Jokic sits in the case of a blowout, Wiseman could have a massive rebounding game. 15+ rebounds would be incredibly possible in that situation.
Therefore, I’d recommend laddering the rebound prop here. He should have zero problem reaching 9. I also took his 10+ (+135), 12+ (+320), 14+ (+700)rebound alternate lines on FaDuel. I also highly recommend looking at his double-double prop if that is more your style. I took that on DraftKings at +195.
