Entrée (1u) - Deandre Ayton OVER 17.5 Points (-125 MGM)

The Chef is back with another article play! If you've been following these closely, we are 8-2 in our last 10 article plays and I feel as if there is a strong chance for us to make it 9-2. Ayton is coming off a 27 point game last night versus the Golden State Warriors. He took 19 shots and converted 13 of them while making his only free throw attempt. He's very familiar with his opponent tonight in the Milwaukee Bucks. He's faced them once this season, scoring 22 points in that game. Last season, he faced them twice scoring 27 and 30 points. He shot 12/14 in the game he scored 27 and shot 14/19 in the game he scored 30 points. Earlier this season when he scored 22 points, he shot 11/21, which isn't like his normal field goal percentage, shooting 59.4% on the season.

The Suns are without Kevin Durant as he's out with an ankle injury for the next few weeks. You can think that playing in a back to back vs two good teams might be a problem for Ayton but during this season, he is averaging 24.3 points in back to backs this season and have gone over the 17.5 line in 6 straight with 4 of those games scoring 29 or more points.

The Bucks are a good matchup for centers of late. They're allowing centers to score 1.78 more points than their season average. Another thing to consider is that Ayton is averaging 19.4 points in back to backs at home. Brook Lopez is his matchup tonight and he plays a lot of drop coverage and the Bucks don't allow teams to shoot well from deep so this is another scenario where we will see a ton of pick and roll play from Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton and Ayton should get either looks at the rim if Lopez steps up or if he drops, like he has been, Ayton is comfortable shooting from the mid-range area.

The volume should be there for Ayton tonight and I think that's all you can ask for when betting overs on player props in the NBA. Let me know what you think about the play and if you're tailing.
