Pick#5: SAC ML(-156)

The Kings' balanced attack and Oklahoma City's missing key players make for an intriguing matchup, as Sacramento looks to extend their winning streak.

The Sacramento Kings have been on an offensive tear since the All-Star Break, winning all three of their games. De’Aaron Fox has been leading the charge, averaging 25.4 points per game, along with five other players averaging between 12 and 19 points per game, resulting in a balanced attack. The Kings have also been successful on the road this season, boasting a 17-13 record and 18-12 ATS.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, on the other hand, have had a difficult stretch since the break, losing all three of their games. Things aren’t looking much better for the Thunder, with their top scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander already ruled out for the game. Without him, it will be difficult for them to keep up with the high-powered Kings.

It’s important to note that over the last two weeks, both teams have combined to average 119.6 points per game, well below the 235.5 total we are expecting tonight. This is likely due to their last meeting when they combined for 339 points. With Sacramento looking strong and the Thunder missing their top scorer, this appears to be a great opportunity for the Kings to extend their winning streak. The Kings have a chance to really open up the gap in the Pacific Division with the Lakers missing LeBron, and the pieces are in place for them to do so.

The Kings' balanced attack and their success on the road suggest they could be in a great position to extend their winning streak tonight. With the Kings looking strong and the Thunder missing their top scorer, there is a lot of value in taking the Kings in this matchup. Sacramento has an impressive 11-3 record as away favorites this season, and this appears to be a good opportunity for them to add to that success.
