Pick#6: Mason plumlee over 15.5 PAR(-105)

Mason Plumlee's strong home and road performances make him a good bet to surpass the 15.5 point, assist, and rebound line when the Clippers take on the Suns.

With the All-Star break rapidly approaching, the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns are both looking to end the first half of the season on a high note. The Clippers' newest addition, Mason Plumlee, may be just the man to help them do exactly that. Plumlee was acquired from the Charlotte Hornets at the trade deadline and has already made an impact on the team.

This season, Plumlee is averaging 12.2 points, assists, and rebounds, with 25.72 points, assists, and rebounds at home and 25.09 points, assists, and rebounds on the road. In 69 games, he has had more than 15.5 points, assists, and rebounds. Over the last 20 games, he is averaging 29.0 points, assists, and rebounds, and over the last 10 games he is averaging 26.0 points, assists, and rebounds. Over the last 5 games, he is averaging 22.6 points, assists, and rebounds and trending downwards.

In one game against Phoenix this season, Plumlee had 27.0 points, assists, and rebounds. With the Clippers having lost four of their last five games against the Suns, it is clear that they need to make a change. Plumlee has the potential to be just the guy to do that. His impressive season averages, combined with the fact that he is likely to get more minutes than his last game and with many other offensive weapons coming off the bench, make it likely that Plumlee will exceed the 15.5 point, assist, and rebound line against the Suns.

The Clippers have plenty of offensive firepower and, with Plumlee in the mix, they have a genuine chance of overcoming the Suns. Expect to see around 25 minutes from him tonight.
