Pick 5: Georgia Moneyline -184 (Fanduel)

With their strong track record favored at home, the Georgia Bulldogs have the advantage in Tuesday's Southeastern Conference matchup against the visiting LSU Tigers.

As the Georgia Bulldogs (15-10, 5-7 SEC) host the LSU Tigers (12-13, 1-11) on Tuesday night in Athens, the Bulldogs have a distinct advantage over their opponents. Under the direction of first-year coach Mike White, the Bulldogs have been the most improved team in the league since last year, when they recorded the most losses in SEC history (6-26).

By contrast, the Tigers have regressed under first-year coach Matt McMahon and are currently in the midst of one of the longest losing streaks in program history. Not since the 2016-2017 season, when they posted a school-record 15-game skid, have they been sub-.500.

The Bulldogs come into Tuesday night's game off the back of one of their most impressive wins of the season against Kentucky, in which they responded to a Wildcats rally from a 10-point halftime deficit to take a 59-54 lead. Kario Oquendo had 21 points, Braelen Bridges scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half, and Justin Hill added 15 points and six assists for Georgia.

Meanwhile, the Tigers had a dismal start against Texas A&M on Saturday, trailing 19-2 less than nine minutes into the game before the Aggies pushed their lead to 41-17 at halftime. Despite the Tigers' efforts to pull to within eight points several times in the second half, they were unable to complete the comeback. Adam Miller scored 18 points, while Tyrell Ward was the only other Tiger to finish in double figures, with 15 points. KJ Williams, who averages a team-high 16.0 points per game, was held to five points.

The Bulldogs have been the favorite in 11 games this season and have won 10 of them. In 10 games at home, they've been favored and have won 9 of those. On the other hand, the Tigers have been the underdog in 15 games and have lost 13 of them. When LSU has been the underdog on the road they are 0-6. These stats make it clear that the Bulldogs are in a good position to end the Tigers' 12-game losing streak and come out on top.

With their impressive record as the favorite and playing at home, the Georgia Bulldogs are the favorite going into Tuesday's matchup against the LSU Tigers. If the Bulldogs are able to win, it will be a testament to their status as the league's most improved team since last season.
