Pick 8: Markelle Fultz Under 12.5 Points -115 (FanDuel)

Markelle Fultz’s recent performances and record against his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, suggest he is unlikely to reach the 12.5 point line when the Orlando Magic face off against them.

Markelle Fultz was selected first overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2017 NBA Draft, but his career in Philadelphia was cut short due to a shoulder injury that drastically changed his shooting form.  In 2019, he was traded to the Orlando Magic, where he has since been showing flashes of brilliance.

Fultz recently put on a show against the 76ers, finishing with 12 points, 10 assists, 4 steals, and 0 turnovers.  However, his record against his former team this season has not been as consistent.  In their two games, Fultz failed to reach 12.5 points, with an average of 10 points.

In addition, Fultz has missed the 12.5 point line in 6 of his last 10 games, and in the last 5 games he has averaged 10 points, with only 1 game over 12.5 points.

Given Fultz's recent performance and record against the 76ers, it is unlikely that he will reach the 12.5 point line.  He has not shown the same kind of consistency as earlier in the season, and his numbers have been steadily declining.  Fultz is still a great talent and can break out at any moment, but until then, it is best to stick with the under for Markelle Fultz’s points.
