Bet: Andrei Svechnikov + Chris Kreider o2.5 Shots on Goal +155 DraftKings
First up, let’s break down one of my favorite players of the night in Svechnikov. The Hurricanes are going up against the Nashville Predators tonight who have been a great target for shots all year but especially of late. Over the last 6 weeks the Preds are allowing the 3rd most shots with 34.2 per game and on the road stay pretty consistent with 33.7 per game. Left Wing is a particularly weak spot for Nashville as they are allowing the 2nd most shots to the position while averaging 3.93 allowed against top line LW’s.
Svechnikov meanwhile, is over this line in 9 of his last 12 games while averaging 3.5 shots on goal per game.
Chris Kreider and the New York Rangers are on the road tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. Kreider is also a top line LW for the Rangers so looking at the above chart we can see that Montreal is also a good target as they have allowed the 12th most shots to LW’s while averaging 3.18 per LW per game.
Kreider has been great on the road this season, going over this line in 14 of his last 20 road games:
